Meet the parents! (MTP)

• MTP is the legendary event where you meet your medic parents and are initiated into DUMS. Involving students from all years in the medical school, this event is not to be missed. You will be given a T-shirt for the night which will allow you to document your journey through the pub crawl which you will partake on with the rest of your year group, and medic families!
• MTP is often credited as being one of the most fun events in the medical school calendar and one which allows you to experience the true potential of the social side of DUMS and Dundee student life itself.
• The event is inclusive of everyone whether they want to drink alcohol or not. If you don't drink then not to worry, your parents will find additional ways to make your evening as fun as possible!

Gaudie Night

• Gaudie night is the second medic family event of the year and your parents still have the reins. Be sure to turn up on time to their student abode for some dinner and drinks. After some scran and wholesome family chat, you will then be dressed up in a costume alongside some of your medic siblings/cousins. The rest of the night is history as you will then proceed to bounce between flats until reaching the club!

Raisin Monday

• Raisin Monday is the day the tables turn. It is up to you to take control over your medic parents; who will be at your mercy for the whole night. It will be up to you and your medic siblings to plan a night to remember. Do your best to offer up some grub, and a few homemade drink concoctions. You should prepare some embarrassing costumes for your medic parents too because it is highly likely some sweet revenge will be on the cards .
• The night will continue in a local club and hopefully end with you feeling like you have got your own back against those who raised you.
