About Us
Hello and congratulations on becoming a student at the University of Dundee School of Medicine!
DECCS (Dundee Emergency and Critical Care Society) is the student society for everything emergency medicine, anaesthetics, and critical care (basically the cool, exciting parts of medicine). We’re one of the biggest, most active medical societies running plenty of events throughout the year including…
- Our famous (award winning) ABCDE nights- a staple of the Dundee med student experience where pizza is always served
- CODE RED conference- a full day of trauma/ emergency medicine including a realistic hands-on simulation with lots of (fake) blood, burns, fractures etc.
- Practical skills events where you can try your hand at procedures you wouldn’t normally get to do in medical school AND MUCH MORE!
Follow, like our posts, email us etc. etc. to keep up to date with DECCS and getting involved! It’s going to be a great year and we can’t wait to meet you!
Love DECCS xoxo
